College admissions has changed more in the past three years than in the past three decades. Test-optional—even “test-blind”—admissions policies. Acceptance rates in the single digits for colleges once deemed “safety schools.” And students accepted to MIT, Stanford, and Harvard who are rejected by SJSU, UC Irvine, and UC Berkeley.
