Why Work With Hamilton Education’s College Counselors?

Most high school counselors do incredible work, but with hundreds of students per counselor (the average in California is 622), it’s nearly impossible for them to provide the personalized admissions guidance students need. With thousands of colleges and a complex holistic admissions process, many families seek extra support to make sure applications stand out.

How Does It Work?

At Hamilton Education, students meet with their counselor frequently—often weekly as application deadlines approach. With small counselor-to-student ratios, we provide truly personalized guidance, addressing strengths, challenges, and goals while building a strong admissions narrative.

We offer three flexible counseling packages based on application needs:

  • UC-focused applicants usually need a smaller package since one application covers multiple campuses.
  • Selective programs (Direct Med, Ivy League, or early deadlines) may require a larger package for multiple essays and extensive support.

Families don’t need to choose a package upfront. After your free initial consultation, we’ll recommend the best fit to ensure your student’s success.
