Rebecca earned her Master of Arts degree in History with a concentration in Public History and Archival Management from Middle Tennessee State University. Her thesis, which focused on the importance kinship analysis lends to the study of 18th– and 19th-century women, received the Graduate Student Thesis Award given by the Tennessee Conference of Graduate Schools for outstanding scholarly achievement. She also earned her Bachelor of Arts in History with minors in English and German from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee and a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University. As an archivist, Rebecca has extensive experience lecturing on historical research and preservation, as well as helping both students and adults to use historical documents to research and write papers. She is a self-described anglophile who loves horseback riding, genealogy, and traveling.
