Tatiana has a Ph.D. in Literature with years of experience teaching writing-intensive humanities courses on complex literary and historical texts. She brings an engaging, discussion-driven style in teaching academic writing and critical reading skills. 

She is also an instructor at UC San Diego for the Revelle College Humanities Program where she helps students develop strong analytical skills, clear argumentative writing, and confidence engaging with challenging material.

She has a broad range of interests; as an undergraduate (also at UCSD), her major was Italian literature with a subspeciality in Russian literature and her minor concentrations were in mathematics and linguistics. Her current interests include 19th-century Italian nationalism, reading Seamus Heaney’s vast oeuvre, and the elusive art of crafting the perfect espresso.
