Marie-Reine Pugh has a BA and an MA in English, and she is currently a PhD student in Literature at UCSD where she also teaches in the Revelle Humanities program. She has taught literature and writing courses at the college level for several years. Though she has lived and studied in the US for over 10 years, her heart will always belong to France, where she was born, and to The Netherlands, where she was raised. True to her French roots, her first love is eating but a close second is baking.
