Out of high school I joined the US Navy where I was stationed as an Aviation Electronics Technician at Naval Air Station Oceana. I worked on F-18 radars and learned the basics of troubleshooting, critical thinking, always being on time, and attention to detail. Afterwards I thankfully came back to beautiful San Diego where I attended UCSD and graduated with my B.S. in mathematics and computer science. In school, I actively worked with friends who needed help in classes. Afterwards I worked as the sole software developer at a smaller company which forced me into many roles. The most enjoyable were ones in which I was training staff and salesmen on programming and operating our product. I am now in graduate school at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and seek to combine my love for knowledge with my passion for helping others.
