Jeremiah is an Iowa native who has an MEd in Math Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. He has 6 years of high school math teaching experience and over 10 years of tutoring experience. For Jeremiah, tutoring began in high school while serving as a peer tutor in math and continued through college while working in the math department’s tutoring lab. Jeremiah also has held previous jobs in coaching, farming, and carpentry. He enjoys using these experiences to provide relevance and connections to math. Making math come alive through applications is an aspect of teaching Jeremiah thoroughly enjoys. In his spare time Jeremiah enjoys gardening, sports, and reading. He also has ambition to ride in a hot air balloon some day.
