Rodrigo earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Whittier College and his master’s degree in sociology from San Diego State University. His academic interests include globalization, technology, and futures studies, and he co-authored an academic journal article while completing his graduate studies. He holds single-subject teaching credentials in Social Science, English, and Spanish, as well as a bilingual teaching authorization. Rodrigo is entering his fourth year teaching U.S. history in a public school setting and brings additional teaching experience from both SDSU and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Outside the classroom, he enjoys hiking, writing, and reading science fiction.
