Andrea Medrano grew up in Chula Vista and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley.

She brings a strong background in student support, outreach, and community engagement, with experience helping individuals navigate resources, feel welcomed, and stay connected. Andrea is passionate about building relationships and creating supportive environments where students and families feel heard and cared for.

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys going to concerts, trying new restaurants with friends, and exploring new places around San Diego.
