Spencer graduated from BYU with a B.S. in Physics and a minor in chemistry. He tutored college physics courses for three years as an undergraduate and since then he has taught high school math and science classes. He wants to be a scientist and he plans on getting a PhD in condensed matter physics. Before he goes to grad school he has decided to catch some waves in San Diego and give back to the community by teaching and tutoring. He has a passion for mentoring students with a focus on empowering the students to achieve academic success. When he is not working, he can be found surfing, throwing his boomerangs at the beach, or studying academic papers in preparation for grad school.
