Vani Neelakantan

Writing Instructor

Vani has been an English and Writing instructor for about seven years at different schools including those trade based. She has experience teaching and developing a variety of classes such as Creative Writing, Science-Fiction Literature, Comparative Literature, and Writing the Screenplay. In addition, Vani founded and supervised a tutoring center at Coleman University. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Whittier College, and an M.A. in Children's Literature as well as a TEFL certification, both from San Diego State University. Vani also taught ESL last year. Her academic focus has been on translation of old languages, folklore, ancient history, and world religions. A fun fact about Vani is that she is a trained classical singer, writer, artist, and working voice actor.
