Serina has a passion for learning and is working on obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at SDSU. After a brief 7 years, she found herself back in San Diego after having attended UCLA for her undergraduate degree where she majored in Sociology and minored in Music History. During her time at UCLA, some of Serina’s favorite memories are from her experiences off campus as she took advantage of the chance to travel, and studied in New York and abroad in Florence, Italy. In her free time, Serina loves planning for her next trip, heading to the closest bookstore to shop for the latest YA novel, and creating pieces of art for her friends and family.
