Math Tutor

Alyssa graduated from SDSU as a Mathematics major with a Single Subject Teaching emphasis. In high school, Alyssa was a peer tutor, which sparked her passion for helping students early on. Throughout college, she worked as a Supplemental Instruction leader for a Linear algebra class, holding weekly sessions for students to attend. She also worked as an in-class tutor at local high schools around the community. After graduating, Alyssa continued on to acquire her mathematics teaching credential and will be working at CCA in the fall. She is passionate about helping struggling students find their strengths and gain confidence in their mathematical abilities. In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys attending concerts, farmer’s markets, and hanging out with her friends.
